What's up Modern Traditional World?
Did you know everybody has an "it." For us 80s and 90s babies, I am not talking about the Addams' Family character but he is just as cool as what your "it" is.
Your "it" is that thing that makes you "you." It's that thing about you that is the core of your way of life and how you act toward the world around you. And here's the bottom line:
Your "it" is the sexiest thing about you and most of you don't even know "it" yet.
On a personal note, my "it" includes a few things but at the core of it is my playful compassionate approach to people. I actually give a damn about what you have to say and what's important to you. I actually enjoy hearing other people's stories and I love clowning and being playful everywhere: at work, at a bar, at a friend's house, at a park, any where.
but I know when to be serious and when to let my crazy flag fly.
Your "it" could be your cool, calm approach to life, your business minded approach, the way your presence brings people together, or the way you can ignite a conversation with any one.
So how do you find your "it"?
Ask people what they love most about you.
Or maybe someone has already told you.
Or maybe you are self aware enough to know that centerpiece to your personality.
How do you use "it" to your advantage?
Realize that it is amazing. Realize that any one who interacts with you will either love or hate that about you, and ACCEPT THE NATURE OF "IT." Accept that those who don't like that part of you are NOT a natural fit with your life and DO NOT FORCE "IT" TO CHANGE.
That's where a lot of men and women cause their own dramas. When you try to change your "it" for the comfort of others, you immediately become uncomfortable and it shows. You can't interact and be effective in your connections with others and you can't really be at your best since you are cutting off what's your strongest asset:
Here's another point about "it" IT IS F***ING SEXY.
Everyone's most natural central part of themselves is sexy to any one who appreciates it. And it's the thing that your friends and family love about you.
So in the end, knowing your IT and accepting it lets you move with greater confidence and to accomplish whatever goals you work toward. That includes work, love, business, fun, spirituality, etc.
